Programs, Class Options, & Schedules
The Weekday School program closely follows the Spring Branch ISD 
calendar in regards to school holidays and emergency closures.  

We will be closed for national holidays, Christmas extended break,
 Spring Break, and Easter Monday. 

The school year begins the Tuesday after Labor Day
 and ends the 4th Thursday in May. 

 Summer Extended Care programs will begin
 in June after a brief break.

Infant programs are designed for children who are three months old by September 1. It is a five day only program with hours from 7 AM to 6 PM.  Classes are small with a high teacher/student ratio. The Infant program at The Weekday School is designed to meet the needs of working mothers and provide a safe nurturing home away from home.
 
Toddler I is designed for children who are 11 to 16 months old by September 1.  This program is an extended care classroom, offered 5 days a week.  Class hours are 7 AM to 5:30 PM each day.
 
Toddler II  is designed for children 17 to 23 months of age by 
September 1.  We offer 3 day classes, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 9 AM to 2 PM, dismiss at noon on Friday.   2 day classes offered Tuesday/Thursday , 9 to 2 PM
Extended care classes are also offered 5 days a week.  Class hours are 7 AM to 5:30PM each day.

YOUNG TWO classes are for children 24-29 months of age. 
We offer 3 day classes, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 9 AM to 2 PM, dismiss at noon on Friday.   2 day classes offered Tuesday/Thursday , 9 to 2 PM
Extended care classes are also offered 5 days a week.  Class hours are 7 AM to 5:30PM each day.


Our Toddler program offers opportunities for socialization, play, art and activities designed to develop fine motor and gross motor skills.   
In addition to their primary classroom, children will attend music ,and motor skills as well as chapel each week. 
Parents provide a morning snack and lunch each day.  

Children in our Day School will nap on Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday before being picked up at 2PM.  




 Two and a half and three year old classes offers a center-based curriculum for children who are 2 1/2 by September 1.   Our learning centers are areas in the class where activities are provided for each child to explore, discover and wire knowledge for learning.   
Learning centers include math, language, writing and geography centers as well as  science stations.
All  students will enjoy music, motor skills, Spanish and STEM classes as well as chapel.
Classes meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.  Classes dismiss at noon on Friday.

PreKindergarten classes are offered to children who are 4 years old by September 1 .   Classes meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Classes will dismiss at noon on Friday. 
 Pre-K students will participate in small group reading labs on Monday-Thursday. Classes will also participate in  music, motor skills, Spanish, STEM and chapel  programs each week. 
 Monthly field trips to such places as the Dewberry Farms, the theater, the zoo, and the Children's Museum add yet another dimension to the children's educational experience.    
 

Extended Care for Children of Working Parents
This program is available year-round from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for infants (who are 3 months by September 1) through Pre-Kindergarten.  The Extended Care program is a 5 day a week program.  

Toddlers and preschool children in Extended Care (EC) will participate in center-based classes, art, music, and motor skills, Spanish and chapel.
During the extended care periods of the day, children have the opportunity to have lunch, nap, play, and participate in a variety of fun, educational activities. 

Creative After-School Program (CAP)
Our creative after-school program runs from 3-5:30 pm, Monday-Friday, for children attending Kindergarten through fifth grade.  Highlights of the CAP program include our popular clubs, such as the Science, Art, Cooking, Spanish, and Sports Clubs.  Before participating in CAP's various fun, learning opportunities students enjoy snack and homework time.  After-school transportation is provided from select public schools by church mini-bus.  We offer transportation from Frostwood, Wilchester, Rummel Creek, Meadowood, Nottingham, and Bunker Hill elementary school.
