Mother's Day Out is a program for children 11 to 29 months of age by
September 1.
We offer classes Monday/Tuesday or  Wednesday/ Thursday/Friday

from 9 am to 2 pm.

Our MDO program offers opportunities for socialization,
play, art, and
activities designed
to develop fine
and gross motor skills.
In addition to their
primary classroom,
children will attend music
and motor skills classes as well as
chapel each week.
A snack is provided
by the school in the
mornings;
snack calendars go
home each month
so parents
are aware of what
 their children
are being
served each day.
Children have lunch they bring
from home and nap before being
picked up at 2.

School for Little People & Pre-Kindergarten offers a center-based curriculum for children who are2 1/2 by September 1.  Children who
are 4 by September 1 will enroll in our Pre-K.
The School for Little People (SFLP) encourages learning through exploration, play, socialization, music, art and a host of
other activities that delight and inspire the children each day.  Our SFLP program is proud to incorporate the methods developed by the
Rice University School Literacy and Culture project.  Offerings include 2,
3, 4 or 5 day options.
Classes meet from 9 to noon.  Parents can extend their child's day with our Stay & Play classes which meet from noon to 2 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
Our center-based
Pre-Kindergarten program is designed to develop a variety of
pre-reading and writing skills, using the acclaimed
Handwriting Without Tears method
and strategies developed by the
Rice University School Literacy and Culture project.
Science and math emphasis rounds out our curriculum.
Monthly field trips to such places as the Oil Ranch, the theater, the zoo,
and the Children's Museum add yet another dimension to the children's educational experience.  Four and five day class options are available.

Extended Care for Children of Working Parents
This program is available year-round from 7 am to 6 pm for infants (who are 3 months by September 1) through Pre-Kindergarten.
Toddlers and preschool children in Extended Care (EC) participate in center-based classes, art, music, and motor skills with the students enrolled in our part-time Mother's Day Out and the School for Little People programs (described at right).
During the extended care periods of the day, children have the opportunity to have lunch, nap, play, and participate in a variety of fun, educational activities.

Creative After-School Program (CAP)
Our creative after-school program runs from 3-6 pm, M-F, for children attending Kindergarten through fifth grade.  Highlights of the CAP program include our popular clubs, such as the Science, Art, Cooking, Spanish, and Sports Clubs.  Before participating in CAP's various fun, learning opportunities students enjoy snack and homework time.  After-school transportation is provided from select public schools by church mini-bus.  We offer transportation from Frostwood, Wilchester, Rummel Creek, Meadowood, Nottingham, and Bunker Hill Elementary Schools.
